A Unique Environment
The Flinders Ranges is the largest mountain range in South Australia, approximately 200km north west of Adelaide.
The native pastures, although grazed, remain much the same they have been for hundreds of years.
Among the plant life is the natural saltbush and native grasses that the Spear Creek Dorper Lamb thrive on. The saltbush is an essential part of the lambs’ diet as it is the ingredient that gives the lambs their unique flavour.
